Bereavement Ministry at St. Stanislaus and Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Parishes.  Next Session, June 14th: The Many Faces of Loss

Grief is not simple, and it is not limited to the pain of losing someone dear. When someone dies, there are often many other losses that follow: the loss of income, the loss of a home, even the loss of one’s identity. These secondary losses can complicate the grief process and turn one’s world upside down. Join us in our next Bereavement Support Group meeting, Thursday, June 14, 2018, when we will discuss “The Many Faces of Loss”.  There will be a morning session at Mary Mother of the Redeemer from 10am to 11:30am in the Parish Conference room or an evening session at St. Stanislaus from 7pm to 8:30pm in the Parish center.  No registration is necessary, just come if you can. Our next two meetings are:

July 12, 2018:  The Value of Memories

August 9, 2018: Open Forum

Divine Mercy Chaplet for the Sick and Dying  If you would like members of the Saint Stanislaus Divine Mercy Cenacle to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet for a loved one who is sick or dying please contact Pat Shovlin at 215.896.0871 or Eileen McKeron at 215.527.0269. Members of the Cenacle are available to come and pray the Chaplet at the bedside of your loved one.

“At the hour of their death, I defend as My own glory every soul that will say this chaplet; or when others say it for a dying person, the pardon is the same. When this chaplet is said by the bedside of a dying person, God’s anger is placated, unfathomable mercy envelops the soul, and the very depths of My tender mercy are moved for the sake of the sorrowful Passion of My Son.” (Diary of St. Faustina #811)
