Host Families Needed! PSE- Private & Public School F1-Exchange is seeking a caring and nurturing host family for a Chinese boy who will be attending his Freshman year at Lansdale Catholic in September. Host families will need to provide a nurturing environment, meals and occasional transportation (students take school buses to and from school) for this school year September 2019 – June 2020. Students come with their own spending money, computer, cell phone and insurance. A generous stipend is given per month to offset expenses. Unique Program for Married Men: Steve Bollman, founder of the catechetical program for men called “That Man Is You,” will introduce a Family Catechetical program to strengthen the faith of married couples to pass on the gift of faith this June. His men’s program has reached over 15,000 men and his new book, “The Choice Wine: 7 Steps to a Superabundant Marriage” is excellent in strengthening married couples in passing on the gift of faith. Corpus Christi Running Club:Corpus Christi parish has started an adult running club for fellowship and training. We meet once a week on Saturday mornings at 7:45 am in the church parking lot by the Our Lady of Lourdes statue. Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome. This is a perfect training/accountability group for newbies, those who want to return to running after a long break and experienced runners. First Thursday Breakfast Club: The Breakfast Club is held on designated First Thursdays of the year at Saint Maria Goretti Parish and provides a way for people to gather together in friendship following their time spent together in worship and prayer. Coffee, tea, juice, and nutritious breakfast refreshments are served along with lots of laughter and conversation. There is no cost to participate in the and no registration is required. Non-parishioners are always welcome. Saint Maria Goretti Church Narthex, following the 8:30am Mass. The Breakfast Club is automatically cancelled when a funeral is scheduled for the same morning.
