Sisters’ Night – Friday, June 22, 6 – 9pm, Villa Maria House of Studies, Malvern: The IHM Sisters invite single young women ages 18-35 to join them for “Sisters’ Night” on Friday, June 22 (6pm-9pm) at the IHM Motherhouse in Immaculata, PA.  This is a great opportunity for young women who are curious about religious life to spend a little time with the sisters in an informal setting.  The evening includes a cookout, wiffleball and s’mores, and concludes with Night Prayer in the Motherhouse chapel. Burrs at the Beach: June 24th from 1pm-7pm. Presented by the Alumni and Friends of West Philadelphia Catholic High School, this event is in its 31st year.  It will be held rain or shine at the Inlet on Olde (formerly Westy’s Irish Pub).  The event features a free buffet, reduced drink prices, 50/50 with cash prizes, and music. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Rummage Sale: Monday, June 25—Thursday, June 28. Shop the area’s largest rummage sale for clothing, household items, jewelry, toys, books, and more. Monday there is an Early Shopping Entrance Fee of $10 (early shopping day runs from 5:30pm to 7:30pm).   Tuesday and Wednesday the sale runs from 9am—7pm, and Thursday from 9am-12noon.  On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday there is no entrance fee. Mass in support of those suffering from addiction: June 30, 11am at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Spring City, PA. Celebrated by Rev. Charles R. O’Hara, Pastor. Addiction has touched far too many families and taken far too many of our loved ones. Join us that we may draw strength from one another in the power of our faith.  A healing blessing will be offered after Mass.


Philadelphia Summer Gathering: How can we make a difference in today’s world?   Love our enemies?  Was Jesus serious? Come learn “The Art of Loving” at The Philadelphia Summer Gathering, hosted by the Focolare Movement. Fatima Evening: July 11, 6pm-8pm. Father Harry McCreedy will lead Fatima Evening of Prayer for Peace and the Protection of the World at Our Lady’s Missionaries of the Eucharist in Birdsboro, PA. For the past 22 years, Father McCreedy has led Candlelight Rosary Devotions to Our Lady of Fatima at his parish. He is a prominent Fatima pilgrimage guide due to his special devotion to Our Lady of Fatima. This event includes Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, Praying the Rosary, an Act of Consecration of Our Nation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Eucharistic Benediction, and the Holy Sacrifice of Mass.

Heed the Call:   camps for grade school and high school boys, B.B.V.C. and Quo Vadis. These camps are wonderful opportunities for participants to not only have fun and interact with the seminarians, but begin to learn how to listen for God’s voice in their lives.
