Changes in Mass Schedules, Weekend of September 26 & 27, due to Papal Visit
The Papal Visit has necessitated some changes in our Mass Schedule for the weekend of September 26 and 27. In order for our priests to participate in the Papal Clergy Mass on September 26, we will have a Communion Service in place of the 8 am Mass on Saturday, September 26. To accommodate the priests attending the Papal Mass on Sunday, September 27, we will adjust the Mass Schedule that weekend as follows:
Saturday, September 26:
The 8 am Saturday Mass is changed to a Communion Prayer Service
Confessions will not be heard on September 26.
In addition to our 5:15 pm Vigil Mass, there will be additional Vigil Masses at 4 pm, and in Spanish at 7 pm
Sunday, September 27:
Masses at 7 am and 9 am only. Please note: we will not have an 11 am Mass or 1 pm Spanish Mass in our Church on Sunday, September 27.
There will be an 11 am Mass at St. Mary Manor that is open to our parishioners.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word
Children’s Liturgy of the Word will resume on Sunday, September 20 and will be offered during the 11 am Mass each Sunday. Children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade who wish to hear the week’s Readings and an age-appropriate homily accompany a children’s catechist and escorts to the Parish Center Chapel for this special program, rejoining the congregation at the beginning of the Liturgy of the Eucharist. For information contact Deacon Steve Vondercrone at the Parish Center.
