The Contemporary Music Group would like to increase its size. We usually play every other 11 am Mass – and practice at 9:15 am in the Parish Center music room.
Calling all ages and all voices! Our Summer Choir will begin singing June 2 and will continue through the months of July and August. All are invited to sing at the 9 am Sunday Mass. No rehearsal except 20 minutes before Mass in the Choir loft. Families are welcome!
St. Stanislaus Parish Children’s Choir
All children are invited to participate – all grades welcome! The choir sings at Mass once a month, and on Christmas and Easter. Practices are most Thursdays evenings from mid-September through April
Adult Choir rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm in the choir loft, from September through May. All voices welcome!
Choirs and Contemporary Group
Many musical opportunites exist at St. Stanislaus, and there is always room for more musicians and singers, including cantors. The Adult Choir sings at the 9 a.m. Mass every Sunday from September to Pentecost. Practices are Thursday evenings in the Church choir loft at 7:30 p.m. The Summer Choir sings at the 9 a.m. Mass every Sunday from Pentecost to September. Practices take place at 9:40 a.m. on Sundays, just before Mass, in the choir loft in the Church. The Funeral Choir sings, on request, at funerals held in the Church. The Children’s Choir, open to students in grades K to 8 in St. Stanislaus Parish School or PREP program praise the Lord with their voices at one Mass per month from October to May. The Children’s Choir practices on Thursday evenings from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. in the choir loft of the Church. The Adult Contemporary Music Group consists of guitars and various other instruments and singers. They play every other Sunday at the 11 a.m. Mass, and at various special liturgies.
